May is almost over, however the end of the month was full of new experiences for many students.
On May 29, class Ic visited the post office. Before the visit, the kids took part in some lessons during which they learned how information can be transmitted over distances from the sender to the receiver.
At the post office, the students addressed envelopes filled with their hand- made arts and crafts. They also placed stamps on the envelopes, sealed them and then they sent the letters. The kids were very much interested in some stages including sending and delivering parcels and postcards.
Thanks to the visit, the first - graders had a great opportunity to observe how important and responsible the work of postal workers is. They could understand how postal services function too.
It seemed that some of our young pupils visited the place for the first time so the short trip gave them a chance to learn more about the institution and gain more interesting experiences.
