On May, 14, an international event took place in our school as part of the project called "Become a Cultural Ambassador" and at the invitation of our foreign language teachers in cooperation with Ms. Tamara Hachulska, a specialist from the Kielce Teacher Training Center and the Regional Volunteering Center in Kielce.
On this day, we had a great opportunity to have 3 foreign volunteers with us: Beartiz from Portugal, Busra from Turkiye and Julia from Spain.
In grades 5 - 8, the girls vividly talked about their countries in English, they also presented the most interesting facts about the places they come from through multimedia presentations.
Thanks to their visit, our students were able to learn many fun facts, too, but most importantly, the visit was a unique chance for our school community to present their language skills in real - life situations. And it really worked! They were pretty successful!
The volunteers were really impressed by our warm welcome, the students' general knowledge and linguistic skills.
Spontaneity, openness, positive energy and friendly atmosphere are the best words to describe this exceptional day!
