Let us introduce Jan Morajko to you, a great fun of cycling.
He has been a member of Świętokrzyskie Cycling Team for three years now and he is doing very well.
His dad, Jacek, who was the Polish Cycling Champion in 2010, the Vice - Champion in 2007, and the Olympic Champion in 2008, has inspired Janek to practice this special kind of sport. Now they regularly practice cycling together in winter, and in summer, they ride their road bikes.
Their training is pretty hard and sometimes very exhausting - they practise cycling three times a week for about two hours. This interesting sport requires a lot of power, endurance and involvement from our super student because Janek frequently rides long kilometres, for example, in some mountainous areas.
Janek trains as a junior in Świętokrzyskie Cycling Team, which cooperates with the Dutch sportspersons in World Cycling Team. Thanks to this cooperation, the junior team can compete in many different countries, especially in those, where cycling is much more popular than it is in Poland.
Janek enjoys cycling and takes part in a number of races to become the winner every single time.
We are proud of him and wish him all the best!!!
Maja, grade 7b
