On February, 10, 2026, we celebrated Safe Internet Day in the school common room.
A lot of young children can use the Internet very well and surf it easily, however, it is absolutely worth reminding how to use the tool in a responsible and reasonable way so that they can benefit from it fully. If they are not aware of the danger in the net, it is very possible that they can lose their important data, financial resources, and sometimes, their friends, health and even their lives!
During the classes, the students tried to discuss the issues with their own words by using a special noticeboard they had prepared earlier. Then they made an XXL - size coloring page related to the topic of the classes. They also listened to the audio programme created by the"We give children strenght" foundation entitled "Sieciaki: the safe Internet mission".
The students also had an opportunity to listen to the therapeutic story "My friend, Necio" and then make a poster presenting the main character.
It was worth gaining some knowledge about using the Internet safely, and finally, completing an interactive "Sieciaki" quiz!
