We could touch the stars and the moon in the sky!

On October 29, our students had an extraordinary opportunity to take part in a meeting with Sławosz Uznański - Wiśniewski, the second Polish person in space! WOW!

The meeting took place at Targi Kielce and was hosted by Maciej Myśliwiec, a member of the Space Agency.

During the event, Sławosz Uznański - Wiśniewski talked about his space mission in a very interesting way and his tale was full of humour. We all felt as if we were flying to space with him!

There were a lot of questions from our students: Is it worth being an astronaut?, What does Earth look like from space?, What does a typical day in microgravity look like?, Is it difficult for astronauts to take care of their physiological needs?, What was the most difficult part of the mission?, What Kielce dumplings and the astronaut have in common?

Thanks to this fantastic meeting we now know that he is very proud of the fact that his grandmother comes from our city! We also gained something really valuable - inspiration and motivation to make our dreams come true. Of course, some great memories will stay with us forever!
