The idea was simple. One day, our school librarian - Ms Agata Zioło, decided to draw attention to some super students in our school.
Let us introduce Piotr Jończyk to you, a student from grade 7b.
Piotr is the National Volleyball Team player. Some years ago he used to practice football because he enjoyed the sport very much. However, it was in February 2025 when Peter’s great volleyball adventure started - he decided to play for SL Salos Cortile Kielce Club. It was the place where some coaches noticed his fantastic sports skills and as a result, they invited him to play volleyball for The Voivodeship Team.
Piotr’s sports career continued and after few weeks, in May 2025, they wanted Piotr to play for the National Volleyball Team. His dreams came true!
Piotr says that he practices volleyball quite often. He trains four times a week and he also works out in the gym. He trains with some older boys so the level of their volleyball matches is really high.
The person who inspired Piotr to become a volleyball player was his friend, Maksymilian Woźniak, a student of one of primary schools in Kielce.
Piotr likes some sayings, however, his favourite one is: ‘’Fortune favours the brave” - ‘’Do odważnych świat należy.” What does it mean to him exactly? Well, it means that you need to develop your skills every day, you need to learn new things as much as possible and you need to make new friends!
It is not difficult for Piotr to have time both for education and his sports passion. He is a good student, a helpful friend and a talented player in one person!
We are proud of Piotr and we are sure that all will go well for him in the future!
