On Friday, September 26, our school took part in the Nationwide Independence Dictation „About History in Polish”. This is the 13th edition of this special spelling challenge.
The Dictation presents both the love for our mother tongue and the history of our country.
This year, 32 students from years 5-6 wrote a text called „ Statek legenda”("The Legendary Ship”) about the famous Polish ship, Batory. The ship represents Polish strenght and pride.
Older students, from grades 7-8, wrote a text called „Jak w hollywoodzkim filmie” ("Like in a Hollywood Movie”) which is about some brave escapes of Polish people from concentration camps during World War II.
We congratulate all our participants on their courage and involvement. We admire their passion for the Polish language as well as their effort!
